There are pictures that I think are great, and then there are pictures that I just love, love, love.  Yep, triple love. Here’s one that I triple love.

My daughter, Carrie, and I were playing camera tag in our yard.  She was running around trying not to be photographed.  I shot a series of her running, and I ended up with a final picture (left in the collage) that I loved and put into my portfolio.  The outtakes are on the right side.  Her hair is streaming out behind her, her arms and legs are in a swoosh of motion, her body is in a very dynamic “pose,” yet her eyes and big smile are still sharp.  I adore this picture for its technical merits, but I also adore it because it shows Carrie’s personality: happy and scuttling around.  In case you didn’t know, she scuttles a lot.
