I’m very proud to partner with College Nannies and Tutors of Danville CA to bring you a Valentine’s Day Portrait Fundraiser to benefit Riley’s Place! Riley’s Place is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children in the San Francisco Bay Area experiencing chronic or life-threatening health problems or challenging family situations such as homelessness. Their programs allow children to find joy and healing from interacting with animals and spending in nature.

With your donation to Riley’s Place, you’ll be getting 15 minutes in front of my camera AND an exquisite custom 8×10 Valentine print. Leave the “cheese” at home, and just be yourselves and have FUN. I’ll capture those precious moments shared between you and your child.

One of my latest obsessions is Pinterest. If you don’t know what Pinterest is, run to your nearest browser. If I were to speak technically, I would call Pinterest a visual social bookmarking site. In actuality, it’s eye candy. Drool-inducing, stunning EYE CANDY. For a photographer and visual artist like me, Pinterest is perfect.

The great thing about it is that you can find lots of amazing ideas that are achievable, because the “pins” (the visual bookmarks) are often linked to a tutorial or a guide. I’ve always loved DIY, and Pinterest makes finding, collecting, and sharing ideas so easy. I used it to plan my oldest daughter’s birthday.
