This is Baby T. He turned one last year, and I was privileged to capture his special day. This little guy’s parents wanted to remember the everyday moments that made this time in their lives special. The chubby little toes and the fat rolls. The wispy hair that is never tame. The little hands that are always busy. The bright eyes that are full of wonderment and curiosity.
That is exactly why I love this image. I feel so full of hope for what is to come when I look at this. Baby T’s nursery decorations come to life, and they could almost fly away as he looks on.

Yes, it is.
Here are just a few photographs from the Riley’s Place Valentine’s Day Portrait Fundraiser 2012 at College Nannies and Tutors of Danville, CA. There were many to choose, it was tough to pick just a few as highlights.

Mom and Little S. play. I see pure joy!

Without further ado, here is the portrait fusion slideshow for the S. Family session. I love putting together slideshows, and so much is involved: selecting the music that fits the personality of the session just right, timing the images along with the music to add impact, adding personal touches such as video and audio clips, and above all, putting it all together so that it tells the family’s story. It’s very time- and labor-intensive, but it’s all worth it to create this gift that Mom and Dad can give to Baby S when he is all grown up. With this slideshow, he can hear his parents’ voices, see himself when he was so tiny, and know exactly how Mom and Dad loved him!
