If you know me well, you know that I just love DIY projects. I’ve taken on plenty in my life, even from the time I was a little girl. I must have learned to love DIY watching my mom, who wasn’t afraid to pick up a hammer or saw around the house. I can’t say that all, or even most, of my projects have turned out in perfection. A lot of the time, my projects just turn out OK. I’m usually glad to have done them but probably could have done better just by buying the real thing.

Hello, Summer!

My older two kids just finished up an art class that took place at the Dublin Heritage Center. What an interesting place. Admission is free, by the way. Go check it out. Although I love modern design and decorating for living, I also love the richness of details brought by old and vintage things in photographs. I found some cool spots that were great for children’s portraits. While the girls were in class, Nathaniel and I had some free time to fill. As always, he’s my little helper when I want to test out some ideas.
