Made with Love ♥ Dublin CA Family and Children’s Photographer

Things have been percolating, brewing, and simmering at the back of my mind for a while. I have been wanting to take my photography to the next level. I have been wanting to create more than just “pretty pictures.” Pretty pictures are important, of course. That is to say, beautiful light, good technique and composition are all important. An image has to be appealing to the eyes, or it’s time to call “game over.” On the other hand, meaningful photography has to go beyond “prettiness.” Does it tell a story? Will it stand the test of time? Can it bring back the most important memories?

We found an intimate, little trail that couldn’t be more enchanting. Tall grass. A small bridge over a quiet stream. A forest canopy to provide some shade from the harsh sun.

Big sister Ava loves being a princess. She knew plenty of princess moves, including the very important turning-daddy-into-a-frog move. And how gorgeous is her hair??
