Here’s my follow-up to the sneak peek at Baby V. Have you been sitting at the edge of your seat in anticipation?? I sure have. I have the pleasure of introducing to you Baby Varsha. The name Varsha means “rain.” As the saying goes, when it rains it pours. The cuteness—it pours.
I spent a lovely afternoon getting to know Baby Varsha and her mom. Varsha gets really red when she’s upset. She smiles in her sleep. Oh man, does she smile in her sleep. I had a fantastic newborn photography session yesterday. I’m working hard on the post-processing today. I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm, so I just had to post a little sneak peek. Finally, I have some pictures to present from my newborn photography session with my new niece, C. The whole session was a learning experience. I spent many hours with my niece’s family. Although some of that time was spent just as family time, I learned that I need to become much faster and more efficient during the shoot. C.’s parents were troopers, though. C. just did not like to be unwrapped or uncovered and was often very hungry. Her parents spent an enormous amount of time feeding, changing, wiping, and calming her. I need to come up with ideas for more clothed and bundled poses to adapt to fussier babies in the future.…
